P2 further distances himself from the “Texas country” ‘norm’ with this solo, largely acoustic offering released in 2000. Playing most of the instruments himself and writing all of the songs, it is among the most heartfelt of the P2 collection. “Beautiful Day” and “Feeling Port Aransas” became live standards.
